It’s about time! It took almost a year in the making for our 4 new soap lines. Well here’s the scoop: each new line of soap carries with it a part of our mōksa revolution. Sustainable future. Human rights. Respect for our planet Earth. Here’s an extra special soap line we wanted to share.

Cafe Milan:
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee! With that wonderful aroma comes some not so wonderful facts: The majority of coffee bean growers in the world suffer severe injustices. Multinational coffee companies rule the $80 billion dollar industry. The price and wages paid to these impoverished farmers remain so low that many are forced to abandon their farms. They are paid pennies a day. But there’s a way things can change for the better. Fair Trade Coffee does just that. It pays fair wages for work. It provides a living for farmers.

We found a company outside of Seattle Washington, “Grounds for Change.” How suitable a name. Every bean that is bought and roasted is fair trade certified and comes from cooperatives around the world. Not only do we roast a cup for ourselves each morning, we use these amazing blends in our Cafe Milan Bar Soap.

Our moksa soap blend includes organic, fair trade coffee with notes of vanilla, berry and lemon. Organic, fair trade cocoa, organic ground cinnamon, organic cloves, and organic oat bran. Who knew that being a part of revolution could be so yummy!

This bar is dedicated to “Conservation Initiative for Asian Elephants.” Conservation Initiative for Asian Elephants A portion of all moksa’s proceeds will be donated quarterly.
